Savanna is the amazing office manager at Adobe Rock. She has lived in the Tooele Valley for 13 years, including Erda and Stansbury. Savanna loves working with the amazing people at Adobe Rock and adores Dozer, our loveable mascot. When Savanna is done managing the office she enjoys traveling, shopping at Costco, and going to the movies. Savanna’s favorite quote is: “You have no idea how high I can fly.” – Michael Scott. Jared Johnson started working for Adobe Rock in April 2018 and is the team leader of our Landscape Yard and Trucking crews. Working with Jared includes lots of laughs with some work thrown in here and there. Jared is from Grantsville, Utah. He and his wife Emily have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. His hobbies include duck hunting and boating trips. His favorite part of working at Adobe Rock is the people he works with and his favorite quote is “Say what you mean and mean what you say.” Derrick Jones one of the owners and our CFO. He has been with Adobe Rock for 6 years and has been a huge part of getting us to where we are now. His favorite parts about working at Adobe Rock is the variety of the work and the challenge of continuing the company’s growth. Derrick is married to Penny and has three kids. He has lived in Tooele County for 22 years and built his own house in Erda. Some of his favorite hobbies include traveling the world, spending time with family, working on his house and yard, and trying new restaurants. His favorite quote is: “The man who can get 10 men to work is more powerful than the man who can do the work of 10 men.” -Ancient Proverb Rick Palmer is one of the owners of Adobe Rock and our CEO. Rick has been here at Adobe Rock since 1997 when he worked with his dad, JD Palmer. He has put in an incredible amount of time and effort into building our company. What Rick loves most about Adobe is that he gets to make a difference in people’s lives, work with good people every day, and run equipment. When Rick isn't putting in the hours here at Adobe, he enjoys spending time with his family on the water- boating, skiing, surfing, and fishing. He is originally from Grantsville, but now lives in a new home in Erda with his wife and three daughters. Rick’s favorite quote is: "It is not enough to be busy. So are the ants. The question is: What are we busy about?" -David Thoreau Robbie Palmer is one of the owners here at Adobe Rock and is also the team leader of Adobe Brothers Construction. Robbie leads his crew with hard work, expert skills, and an awesome sense of humor. Robbie spent time around the gravel pit with his dad growing up but did not officially start working at Adobe until 2011. His favorite part of working at Adobe is carrying on the family business and being able to serve the community. He lives in Grantsville, Utah with his wife and three sons where he is also an assistant coach for the wrestling team at Grantsville High School. Some hobbies include fishing and rebuilding cars. Robbie’s favorite quote is: “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet.” -Abraham Lincoln. Blake Williams has been with the Adobe Rock family for 2.5 years. He leads our Pit Operations crew which is one of the largest teams at our company with great enthusiasm and positivity. Blake and his crew take care of all the crushing, screening, and stockpiling of products, plus a lot more. His favorite part of working at Adobe Rock is working with the people, problem solving, and building stuff. Some of Blake’s favorite hobbies outside of work include building engines and drag racing. He lives in Erda, with his wife Skye and is also the father of four children.

I just wanted to say how satisfied I am with Adobe Rock however the delivery service that they use was less than stellar as you can clearly see in the pictures a good portion of our rock was actually covered up with dirt. The delivery company said they didn’t have enough room because my driveway was small there again you can clearly see he had plenty of room. The recommended solution was to rake it away from the dirt. anybody trying to rake rocks out of dirt knows that’s just a royal pain in the butt I feel more generous solution could’ve been presented considering that we paid over $300 to have this delivered!

The staff is pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their product is awesome, and their prices are reasonable. Delivery was a breeze. Rueben delivered my first load of dirt and took the time to make sure he dumped it right where I wanted it. He, too, was pleasant and efficient. Two other fellas brought deliveries (one was Porter), and both of them were just as helpful and terrific! I highly recommend this company!

We had Robbie Palmer come and deliver some dirt to our home. He was awesome! He didn’t run over any sprinklers he found out where we wanted the dirt and placed it right where we needed it. We were on vacation and out of town and he was awesome to contact us and be very timely about taking care of our needs. We recommend him to everyone :-)

I love that I can pull up with my little trailer, give them 20 bucks, and they'll give me 2000 lb of crusher fines. That's a penny a pound! They just plop it in my trailer. The whole thing takes 10 minutes and I don't have to lift a finger.
