Bill is a total pro! We have worked with other realtors before that were okay. But Bill is fantastic! I can say with 100% confidence that he LOVES helping his clients find ideal properties at reasonable prices. Our best friend (who is hard to please) had an excellent experience with Bill and referred us to work with him. When the time came for us to find a new house in the northwest part of Philadelphia, we called on Bill’s knowledge of the market and steady nature to guide our search. What I especially loved about Bill was that he never pressured us and also at times played devil’s advocate to make sure we really wanted to make an offer that fits our needs & budget. Each time we looked at a new house with us, he always reminded us of what we said we wanted. While we did not have to look at more than 10 houses to find our one, he said he would happily look at 100 houses with us to find the right one — and I truly believe he would. In the end, he helped us creatively craft our offer to ensure we beat out the other interested buyers while not over-spending. And when an issue came up in inspection, he made sure everything was taken care of even after a repair was needed a month after settlement. Bill really cares about his clients and we will happily work with him again.

Bill was/is fantastic. As a first time single home buyer, I was very anxious and lacking in information about the process. On our first meeting, Bill immediately put me at ease and patiently answered all of my questions. Throughout the process he responded quickly to any and all messages, and was glad to pick up the phone even in off hours. He gave me great tips which helped me get the house I wanted at the price I wanted. I would use Bill again, and would highly recommend him to any future buyer.

14 years ago, Bill sold me the house that I sold this year and Bill was, again, my real estate agent. I live in California and the house is in Philadelphia. To say that I did a minimum amount of work is an overestimation. Bill priced the house fairly and he took care of everything. Everything Bill did was fully transparent and he communicated with me with just the right frequency. Within a very short time, I sold the house at the asking price and I did not even need to fly back to Philadelphia for the closing. On top of being a really capable agent, Bill is truly a nice person. If I were to ever need real estate in Philadelphia again, I wouldn't hesitate to call him.

Bill Shelton is the best realtor in the greater Philadelphia area. Period. We were so lucky to have him as our realtor!! With his help we found our dream house and had an offer accepted. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the various areas even down to which streets are nice in a particular neighborhood. He is patient and allows the client to take their time trying to determine what they are looking for and how much they want to pay for it. He never pushes his views on you in terms of how much to put down for an offer etc.. I understand that many realtors do that and push you to go higher because they want their commission quickly. He genuinely wants his clients to find a home that makes them happy. He is also quick to get back to you so that you can swoop in and check out houses as soon as they come up. He is very flexible with his time and is really committed to helping you find a good house. It was such a joy to work with such a dedicated, kind, and all round wonderful person!
