Jake, Alex, Travis, Jason and the team were highly responsive and professional contractors. They brought in high-quality sub-contractors to complete a garage remodel and exterior update and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I had several custom requests that were troublesome, but the team spent time problem solving with me to achieve the results I was looking for. They went above and beyond to get me a new air conditioner when mine went out mid-project in the Texas July heat. Their HVAC crew was at my house until 11pm to make sure my family had AC that night! I would highly recommend them.

I couldn't be happier with Alex and his team at Catalyst Construction!! I recently bought a home in Austin that needed quite a bit of work. After meeting with a number of contractors, I finally had the pleasure of meeting Alex at Catalyst. Immediately I was pleased with his upfront honesty and willingness to help. I was a little nervous to work with a contractor initially, but Alex really helped bring ease to our minds. He suggested cost saving tips, explained everything in great detail, and had a ton of great construction knowledge that enabled the project to go smoothly. After receiving a fair bid, we ultimately decided to go with Catalyst. Throughout the entire process, Alex was transparent and communicated everything extremely well — I always felt that we were in great hands! He paid great attention to detail, which ultimately left us with a great finished product. I can not recommend these guys enough! We will be coming back for any future projects.

Catalyst did a great job with the total guy and remodel of our kitchen, dining and living rooms. Even when issues popped up (our house is 70 years old, so that was to be expected), Jake was always available to explain, provide answers, and keep our project on track.

Catalyst did an excellent job on our combination garage conversion, full siding replacement, and full window replacement. The staff at Catalyst was very responsive, considerate, and understood our preferences well. They also offered useful advice with cost/value considerations when we weren’t sure what we wanted. On top of having great internal staff, one of the best things about Catalyst was their choice of subcontractors. Almost a dozen times neighbors came up to me during construction and asked for references to both the general contractor and the subs because of the good work ethic and quality output. Despite a few delays in permitting and materials Catalyst was able to smoothly manage all aspects of the project. Catalyst was also able to keep the project cost to within 5% of the original quote. I highly recommend Catalyst for any residential construction job.

We had Catalyst do a kitchen remodel for us with Alex as our project manager. We had interviewed and received quotes from several contractors and Catalyst was the best fit for us. Not only did we do a full kitchen remodel (down to studs) but also full house wood floor install, electrical work and some paint around the house. Alex made sure we knew day to day what was being done and what crews to expect. We felt very comfortable with all the crews Catalyst had performing jobs. Of the one or two issues that came up Alex handled them without question, professionally, and transparently. We would without question use Catalyst again for any project.
