As a small business owner, I would recommend Extra Space Storage. Closing my store was very stressful. I identified items that I wanted to retain and decided there was a need to secure storage. I visited Extra Space storage because it was close to my home (important because I will need daily access). I found the rates to be reasonable and staff to be very helpful and answered all of my questions. I am very happy with my storage units.

The staff is always super helpful and accommodating. I've used two other storage facilities in the past 6 years and this location is by far the best. Facility is always clean (that includes restrooms) and there are plenty of large wheeled carts. It's a solid operation and I very much appreciate their professional demeanor.

Worse experience. I rented a locker a paid on a Saturday, moved Sunday and showed up with a truck full of stuff. The code didn’t work, no one was able to assist, the 800 number Dustin have anyone there, the office was closed. I was left with a truck full of stuff and had to extend the truck rental and unload back at another apartment. I reached out repeatedly and got nowhere. I called today and finally got a rude employee that tried telling me I was doing the code wrong. I rented another truck and after ensuring someone was there made a second attempt. This time the code worked. I’m out hundreds of dollars due to the delay, go somewhere else!!

I had a very positive experience at the extra space storage facility at 1250 W. Taylor St. in Washington DC. The move-in was very smooth and a manager named January was tremendously helpful in advising on a storage space and setting up my account. When I recently closed my unit and account, another manager, Kobe, assisted with the process. He advised me on when my billing cycle closed and on the time I had to take the remaining items out of my unit. He also shut off my auto payment so that no more payments would be debited from my account. After I removed items, Kobe helped me to close down my account. I really appreciate him taking his time and guiding me through the process. Kobe and January were courteous and very professional in providing assistance to me. I would without reservation recommend the extra space storage facility at 1250 W. Taylor St.based on the excellence of these two managers.
