I reached out to Mark when my husband and I started our search for a potential new home in the Richmond area. We live across the country so I contacted him VERY early in our search and he was informative, encouraging but also very patient with our long term process. One thing I really appreciated about Mark was that he wasn't pushy, a move is stressful enough without feeling pressure from a real-estate agent- THANK YOU Mark!
We planned a month long trip to the Richmond area and Mark really helped us make the most of our time. He was a great listener and seemed to have so many connections within the community allowing us to see a variety of homes. He really made himself available to us and was up for "just checking it out" pretty consistently. We didn't end up finding out home in person so our search continued virtually.
Most people are so surprised (and scared for us) to learn we haven't seen our recent home purchase in person but we are so confident because of Mark. He was extremely thorough- he showed us every detail of each home through our virtual tour. He shared what materials were used, wear and tear points, ceiling heights, wall paper close-ups, etc. And due to the virtual method he used, we could go back and rewatch the tour if we wanted to look at something again. His attention to detail and understanding ofohis clients preferences are unmatched.

Janine Howard5 StarMy husband and I worked with Mark to buy and sell during the spring of 2022 housing craze. Mark made a few suggestions for us to get our house ready to sell, including replacing the carpet. After some initial hesitancy we looks his advice and it paid off. Our home sold for nearly 15% over asking and for more per square foot that the other recent sales in our neighborhood. Buying the next house was the really challenging part but Mark was there for us each weekend to get us into homes as early as possible. After noticing some changes in the market he recommended we no long wait on submitting offers until the end of the weekend, even when the seller’s intention was to hold offers. This paid off for us when we managed to get an offer accepted on a home the first day it was on the market. Mark was friendly, easy to work with, available when we needed him, and helped guide us during a very challenging time as a buyer.
