BUYER BEWARE! If you are looking to install hurricane shutters, be vigilant when dealing with this company. A family member of mine was looking to protect her home by the installation of hurricane shutters for four openings. Permits were requested so that a state-certified inspector could verify the installation and product meet the FL building codes, and a record could be kept to show the increased value to the home. This company was deceitful from beginning to end, including their interaction with the local building department. In short, this company was attempting to pass off decorative shutters as hurricane protection. If you intend to protect your home with hurricane shutters, INSIST on a permit so that the product and installation is inspected by a qualified individual. I'm only posting this review to protect homeowners from a company which has shown a pattern of dishonesty and manipulation. Signed, A Central Florida State-Certified Building Inspector (25 yrs)

Our new shutters look fantastic! We absolutely love them! Our 1902 home now has more charm and beauty because of these shutters. We recently ordered shutters for our French doors and Hunter shades for the remainder of our home. All look amazing and fit extremely well. Great job Luther and David!!!! So very impressive! From the moment they arrived until the installation was completed, the team was extremely thorough, answering all my questions and concerns and making sure that the shutters are installed perfectly! I’m so happy with the decision to go with Superior Custom Shutters, they truly are SUPERIOR! Thank you so much for such an amazingly done job! I can only recommend going with this company, you will truly see the quality product installed by a company that’s been doing this for 20 years, they definitely know how to do the job perfectly.
