Mike is an amazing realtor with extensive knowledge of the DC real estate market. We’ve known Mike for over a decade and he has helped us buy and sell three homes as our family has grown. He gives sound advice and guidance and we are extremely satisfied with our experience working with him. Mike’s background in construction has been useful when buying homes as he’s able to explain the condition of the home and the extent of repairs needed. Even in a slow seller’s market during the winter, Mike staged our home and marketed it well so we had multiple offers within a few days and interest even before it was officially listed. I retained Mike to sell my house in Beltsville MD after Mike had sold the house of a friend and that friend then recommended Mike to be my realtor too. Mike is excellent especially since he had to tend to most details independently because I was too busy relocating to my retirement destination, out-of-state, to participate in the sale of my house in Maryland. And so, Mike collaborated with his network of home contractors who did all the following to prep my house for sale, after I had vacated: junk removal; drywall; painting; floors; and maid service.

We had a complicated home sale situation in Takoma Park, MD involving our elder parent's home (re-construction project with delays, moving him out, positioning and marketing the property for sale, etc). Michael Altobelli was an awesome realtor to work with! He was so great setting up appointments and working with our schedule since we were moving from out of town. He helped us find a great, local mortgage company to work with. He kept us updated on the process and even took video when we found our dream house and put an offer in sight unseen. And he totally helped us come up with a creative way to reach out to the seller with our offer. He made sure we had all the right inspections completed and was there the whole day. He made sure we knew exactly what systems in the house would need work So we knew what we were getting ourselves into. If you want personal service choose the Altobelli Group and Mike Altobelli. He has his pulse on the market and with his help had our home sold in 4 days above asking price. He provided us a detailed report to help figure the best price and timing. He also has access to a professional interior designer/stager to help your home look it’s best. Plus the photographers used are top notch. We were very happy with our experience and know you will be also!
