I have lived in my apartment since September 2019 and have had 3 different neighbors. I can understand why someone would not want to continue renting from this company and if I wasn’t so lazy I’d move also. My plan is to move 3/1/2022 since they roped me into another year lease (so they could add another bill to the lease). My main problem is the repairs and unprofessionalism of my direct landlord. It’s a country house so I understand that comes with country issues but I didn’t expect to be living with 27 species of spiders and field mice. My most recent maintenance request was added on 3/8 where the wash machine, which barely worked when I moved in( it was added to the inspection list), was pouring out water during the rinse cycle. 3 days pass, no one contacted me. I contact the landlord several times and he tells me he will have to contact them again. Apparently I’m the only one of a set of keys so it would be nice to know when I need to let them in. There is standing water on my floor and it’s been a week and a half... Edit to add: Slumlords take advantage of your downfalls . I am finally in the position to leave ! Do not rent here unless you are desperate like I was. There were several times where I would wake up and the water was shut off because the “pipe busted”, several days when my daughter and I had to go without heat waiting for repair people to come. The mold that I reported, and confirmed by the inspector, was untouched by the landlord. Maintenance request continue to go unanswered. No pest control. There is also a lot of illegal things going on. You can not count a bedroom as a bedroom if it does not have a window, maintenance repairs should be done in a reasonable amount of time, the landlord goes around telling the tenants personal information. During Covid, when I used HUD, they charged me late fees and now it’s on my rental history which made it hard to find another place. They never answer the phone or return messages. You can not charge someone from something they can not track ie. outdoor electrical that is shared. Considering taking further steps to expose how crooked this company is.

I came by to ask about properties in Youngsville and was finishing a call while standing in the parking lot. While talking on the phone outside in the parking lot, I was approached with condescension by the female owner who asked me what I was doing. "I'm finishing a phone call." I said. "Well it's annoying. This is private property. Get off the property and go talk in the street." How they're still in business today, I'll never know. Hopefully they'll be gone soon. A nice town like Youngsville doesn't have room for such a terrible person and attitude.

I went to Youngsville Realty in September 2019. I spoke with a man can't remember name) about putting my house up for sale. He wad suppose to come to my house on Saturday. He never showed. I called on Monday and couldn't get an answer. I left a message. On Wednesday I went to the office and again no one was there. I haven't heard from anyone from that day to this one.

They haven't returned my clients phone call and very slow to manage long over due repairs. The home is in Franklinton. In very poor condition.
